| Abstract: |
Weekly phenological census using 60 0.25 m2 collection traps located on Poacher's Peninsula on BCI by the ESP program. All woody parts of the plant are collected, sorted dried and weight.
From 1985 to 1993, seeds and fruit were considered as one category, identified to species and weighed together.
Flowers and leaves were also identified to species and weighed. In 1994 several additional reproductive part categories were added to the census. All parts are collected separately, weighed, counted and identified to species. In 2000 a category for Howler monkey feces was added. This category is scored as present/absence and is not weighed.
