RADIOSONDEO CV-700 System

The radiosonde of Panama has been run by the ACP since July 2003 and is located at Corozal West.
The original system was a CV-700 system (see photos above), produced by International Met Systems Inc. It uses a Microsondas Sippican mark-II, with a frequency range of 1660 – 1680 MHz.
On May 2006 this system was by a Vaisala A new Upper-air Sounding System, DigiCORA III MW31 (see diagram below).
