Appendix 2.  Annual number of seedling recruits for 32 species from Barro Colorado Island, Panama.  Seedling recruits were censused each year from 1995 through 2003 for 600 1.0-m2 plots (see Methods: Seed and recruit censuses).  The column headings refer to the year of the flowering event that produced the seedling recruits (explained in Wright et al. 1999).
